About Omi

Omi International Arts Center is a multi-disciplinary non-profit arts organization founded in 1992 and located on 480 acres of idyllic farmland just over 2 hours north of Manhattan in the agricultural heart of the historic Hudson River Valley. Currently it includes a 150 acre sculpture park (known as The Fields), a LEED silver certified visitor center and gallery, and facilities for annual residency and education programs in the visual arts, music, writing, and dance that are open to applicants from all over the world. It is intended to provide an environment to foster artistic exploration, inspired by the bucolic landscape in which it is situated. The gallery and sculpture-park are accessible to the public year round, and the center sponsors regular park tours and a full schedule of public events in music, dance, writing, painting, and sculpture. Visitors include arts professionals from New York City, the local community, and locations around the world, as well as students and school groups, weekend residents, and the general public.
